Clarins seeks a CRM Data Analyst for a fixed-term contract, based in Paris 17 and available as soon as possible. Reporting to the CRM Data Manager, the role turns large-scale data into actionable insights supporting customer understanding, CRM initiatives and product performance through analysis, dashboards, data quality testing and AI tools.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze customer, CRM and product data using SQL, statistical modeling and AI, in line with Global Data Team priorities.
- Select appropriate analytical methods to frame and structure each study.
- Extract, clean and process data to ensure analytical reliability and relevance.
- Create clear data visualizations and present findings so business stakeholders can understand and use them.
- Build Power BI dashboards from requirements defined with the Global Data Team.
- Structure data models and queries to ensure dashboards are accurate, scalable and maintainable.
- Select suitable KPIs and visualizations to make insights easy to understand and act on.
- Gather stakeholder needs, iterate on dashboard drafts and validate final outputs.
- Document dashboards and present them to business and technical stakeholders.
- Manage the backlog of requested dashboard changes and maintain existing dashboards.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on Qlik and Power BI dashboards to verify data reliability and functional compliance before release.
- Support the Data Project Manager in checking and validating data across dashboards and analyses.
- Identify and document anomalies, and follow up with technical teams.
- Coordinate testing phases and timelines with technical teams to deliver releases on time and to a high standard.
- Use AI to deepen and accelerate studies and analyses.
- Test AI-powered tools in day-to-day work and share feedback with the Global Data Team to support its adoption roadmap.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, ideally in a retail environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and a good understanding of statistical modeling techniques, such as segmentation and scoring.
- Demonstrated experience designing dashboards and using data visualization tools, ideally Power BI.
- A rigorous approach to data testing and quality assurance.
- Ability to use AI tools to enrich analyses and accelerate work.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
