Clarins seeks a Beauty Therapist (19.1 hours per week) to deliver professional skincare treatments and exceptional client care at the John Lewis Leicester Spa. The successful candidate will engage customers in skincare consultations, drive product sales through informed recommendations, maintain treatment room standards, and promote brand loyalty whilst working flexibly across shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional skincare treatments in accordance with Clarins (UK) Ltd treatment guidelines and maintain high customer service standards
- Conduct skincare consultations and develop product recommendations aligned with brand differentiation, ingredient stories, and homecare product benefits
- Drive retail sales through confident product promotion and overcome selling objections with professional expertise
- Create engaging retail theatre and implement the customer brand journey narrative to attract and retain clientele
- Maintain rigorous hygiene and cleanliness standards in the Clarins treatment room, reception, and laundry facilities
- Cultivate customer loyalty and encourage repeat visits and product purchases
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification or equivalent
- Hands-on experience in beauty or retail environment with exceptional customer service skills
- Commercial awareness and results-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings

Experience
Proven experience in a hands-on beauty or retail role demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and commercial awareness.
Education
NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification or equivalent professional beauty therapy certification required.
