Clarins seeks a Beauty Advisor for a 50% FTE role at Foschini V&A. The role combines personalized skincare and makeup consultations, customer recruitment and CRM, sales performance, point-of-sale operations, merchandising and launch execution.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Clarins and educate customers about its “unlimited” philosophy through attentive customer care and personalized beauty advice.
- Lead consultations and tailor beauty rituals; demonstrate products in accordance with Clarins protocols; recommend cross-selling and cross-sampling; and address product objections.
- Collect, record and maintain accurate customer data while observing confidentiality, and support store-level CRM activities.
- Recommend product combinations and alternatives, stay informed about brand information, and share relevant information with customers.
- Recruit new customers by collecting customer data, following beauty trends and competitor news, and promoting Clarins’ social media presence and e-commerce availability.
- Understand sales KPIs, report daily sales, and manage daily administration, including tracking, monitoring, planning and reporting.
- Follow daily grooming and styling standards and guidelines, wear the Clarins uniform, maintain personal hygiene, and execute point-of-sale processes correctly.
- Support point-of-sale administration and hygiene; follow in-store merchandising guidelines; maintain optimum stocks of products, testers, samples and disposable sales tools; and contribute to the successful execution of launches.
- Deliver excellent customer care by listening to and understanding customer concerns, and execute counter events to maximize new launches and build customer loyalty.
