Clarins is seeking a Beauty Advisor for a 50/50 role at Truworths Canal Walk in Cape Town. The role covers personalized consultations, product demonstrations, customer relationship management, recruitment, sales reporting, point-of-sale operations, merchandising, stock upkeep, and launch execution.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead customer consultations and personalize beauty rituals.
- Demonstrate products in accordance with Clarins protocols; offer cross-selling and cross-sampling, and address product objections.
- Collect, record, and maintain accurate customer data while observing confidentiality.
- Support store-level CRM activities.
- Recommend product combinations and alternatives, stay informed about brand information, and share relevant details with customers.
- Recruit new customers by collecting customer data, following beauty trends and competitor news, and promoting the brand’s social media and e-commerce presence.
- Understand sales KPIs, report daily sales, and carry out daily administrative tracking, monitoring, planning, and reporting.
- Follow grooming and styling standards, wear the Clarins uniform at all times, and maintain personal hygiene.
- Execute point-of-sale processes correctly.
- Support point-of-sale administration and maintain high hygiene standards.
- Follow in-store merchandising guidelines; maintain optimal stock levels of products, testers, samples, and disposable sales tools; and contribute to the effective execution of launches.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of beauty-related and/or retail experience.
- Knowledge of Clarins products, including skincare and makeup application, is advantageous.
- Good level of education.
- Knowledge of English or an additional language.
- Passion for beauty, with strong interest in and curiosity about news, brands, and competitors.
- Passion for selling.
- South African citizenship.
- Matric Certificate.
