Clarins seeks part-time Accounts Payable Accountant in Munich. Hybrid role with 20 hours/week, invoice processing, reconciliation, and vendor management responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Verify, book, and reconcile incoming invoices against purchase orders and goods receipts
- Monitor and maintain open payables list, conduct account reconciliations, and ensure adherence to payment and discount terms
- Proactively investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with internal departments and suppliers
- Prepare weekly payment runs, implement payment holds where necessary, and maintain vendor master data
- Support business units and controlling on purchase order creation and processing questions
Qualifications
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent accounting qualification
- Multiple years of professional accounting experience, ideally with focus on accounts payable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Workday or similar ERP systems preferred
- Proactive working style with ability to identify issues early and drive resolution independently
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail; effective priority management across multiple concurrent tasks
- Solid English-language skills for international headquarters communication; French language skills a plus
