Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with repair processes and all related documentation, including repair dockets
  • Manage Made to Order and Made to Measure processes, overseeing consultation, order placement, factory follow-up, customer updates, and after-sales support
  • Deliver Finger Polishing services according to daily and weekly requests while maintaining contact with customers
  • Achieve monthly and annual repair conversion targets against assigned objectives
  • Manage after-sales services including resoling under warranty, identifying solutions beyond warranty coverage, conducting customer recall initiatives for periodic shoe inspections, and cleaning and maintenance of accessories
  • Support the boutique team in customer engagement, retention activities, and sales opportunities development including Personal and Private Appointments
  • Execute footwear personalization and bespoke services with exceptional precision, including hand-stamping initials, customized finishing, and laser engraving
  • Conduct footwear health checks and provide professional advice on care, maintenance, refurbishment, and restoration options
  • Register new customers within the store customer database and manage follow-up activities relating to customer CRM requests
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to develop the team's understanding of footwear construction and craftsmanship
  • Travel between stores and to external locations and events when required to support craftsmanship and customization services

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in footwear repair, care, restoration, and/or customization, ideally within luxury footwear, fashion, or leather goods sectors
  • Strong knowledge of traditional shoemaking and craftsmanship techniques, including polishing, patina finishing, leather care, and product finishing
  • In-depth knowledge of different leather types, footwear materials, care products, creams, and professional maintenance treatments
  • Experience in the use and maintenance of specialist tools and equipment for footwear care, repair, restoration, and customization
  • Strong understanding of luxury footwear construction, manufacturing methods, and craftsmanship standards
  • Genuine passion for the brand, its heritage, and craftsmanship with ability to represent Church's as an engaging Brand Ambassador
  • Ability to assess footwear condition and recommend appropriate care, repair, restoration, or customization solutions

Experience

Experience in repair and maintenance activities such as resoling, heel replacement, insole replacement, leather cleaning, and restoration is highly desirable.

Education
