Christie's is hiring an Inventory Coordinator to support aged inventory reviews, client outreach, reporting, reconciliations and property movements across its New York and New Jersey warehouse network. The role is a temporary, 12-month contract, paid at $22 per hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work with the Inventory Analyst to review and obtain information on aged inventory held at warehouse locations across New York and New Jersey.
- Work with the Post Sale team to identify aged inventory ready for client outreach.
- Prepare regular reports, analyse data and assist the Logistics team with inventory reconciliations.
- Support the Inventory Analyst as the point of contact for miscellaneous BSG issues, including new stock numbers, IT issues, retagging and flagging items not yet located.
- Assist with inventory reporting and reconciliations, and ensure property movements are reflected in systems as needed.
- Collaborate with the Logistics and Post Sale teams to identify and resolve issues and system discrepancies.
- Resolve ad hoc inventory issues and requests, such as questions from other regions, client inventory list requests, property system archive investigations and system activities supporting property transfers for selected tours.
- Help coordinate the movement of inventory selected for transfer to clients or third parties, record details and report on progress.
- Help cleanse inaccurate data in collaboration with the Inventory Analyst.
- Undertake other projects and tasks assigned by the Head of Logistics, Inventory Analyst and/or Logistics Managers.
Qualifications
- Willingness to work in warehouse environments across New York and New Jersey.
- Excellent IT skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to learn and become proficient in Christie's systems, such as Tableau and JDE.
- Highly organised, with the ability to multitask, prioritise and follow up promptly.
- Strong problem-solving and information management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including superior written and spoken communication.
- Proven time and task management skills.
- Ability to work professionally and responsibly with all other areas of the business.
