Christie's Paris seeks an Executive Assistant to the President. Fluent English, art market experience preferred. CDI, €45–48K + bonus, 25 days leave.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage executive calendar with precision, coordinating meetings, prioritizing commitments, reorganizing schedules in response to emerging priorities, and facilitating seamless transitions between appointments
  • Handle incoming correspondence, telephone communications, and routine administrative inquiries with professionalism and discretion
  • Organize all professional travel logistics including hotel reservations, flight bookings, ground transportation, and expense report management
  • Navigate sensitive client situations by gathering relevant information, clarifying circumstances, preparing executive briefings, drafting client correspondence, and ensuring appropriate follow-up
  • Monitor Christie's sales activity and competitive auction market developments across Paris and global markets
  • Serve as principal liaison between executive leadership and teams in Paris, London, and New York, prioritizing requests, coordinating deliverables, and tracking completion
  • Assist in preparing internal and external communications including presentations, meeting minutes, and strategic documents
  • Develop familiarity with the President's client portfolio and coordinate with the Client Strategy team on engagement initiatives such as event invitations and exhibition previews
  • Supervise and mentor an intern team member
  • Execute additional personal administrative duties as required

Qualifications

  • Fluent English proficiency required
  • Proven expertise in professional Microsoft Office applications and digital communication platforms
  • Exceptional interpersonal and service orientation skills
  • Polished professional presentation and communication style
  • Significant prior experience in an equivalent executive assistant position, preferably within the art market, auction house, or luxury sector
