Christie's Gooding seeks a Department Assistant in Paris for vehicle archive management at two international collector car auctions (Geneva November 2026, Paris January 2027).
Role & Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and archive historical documentation and files for consigned vehicles destined for auction
- Verify completeness of received documents including invoices, certificates, maintenance records, correspondence, expert reports, and manufacturer documentation
- Digitize documents and ensure filing and tracking according to internal standards
- Prepare documentation packages for specialists, cataloguers, and clients
- Maintain and update tracking spreadsheets and monitoring tools
- Support internal requests and act as a primary point of contact for vehicle archives and documentation needs
- Manage final restitution, archiving, and filing of vehicle dossiers
- Assist with additional tasks as requested by management and the sales team
