Christian Dior Couture seeks a Wholesale Area Manager (maternity cover) in Paris to manage Baby Dior collections across EMEA and South Korea.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage a dedicated client portfolio across EMEA and South Korea, developing and maintaining relationships with multi-brand partners, department stores, and Shop-in-Shop locations
- Deliver detailed weekly and monthly performance reports including revenue, sell-through rates, bestseller analysis, and KPIs
- Oversee collection launches in-store and coordinate with visual merchandising teams for optimal product placement according to performance and commercial strategy
- Identify growth opportunities by applying the house commercial policy, strengthen existing partnerships, and collect retail feedback
- Monitor deliveries and reorders in coordination with supply chain, inventory management, and accounting teams
- Ensure compliance with visual merchandising guidelines and brand image standards at partner locations through periodic field visits
- Conduct continuous market analysis of product trends and competitive landscape to adapt commercial approach accordingly
- Establish budgets aligned with seasonal and annual objectives for each client account
- Develop customized purchasing and replenishment strategies tailored to each partner's specifications, budget, and local market needs
- Manage two physical and two digital showrooms for seasonal order placement
- Supervise the external sales team during showroom periods and manage order capture
- Direct the Baby Dior Shop-in-Shop team at Bon Marché (2 direct reports), overseeing scheduling, HR oversight, and sales targets
- Monitor weekly and monthly revenue performance and achieve sell-through targets at Shop-in-Shop location
- Support retail teams during buying sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+5 equivalent) from a business school or university
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in wholesale or commercial development within the fashion sector
- Demonstrated excellence in commercial relationship management, rigor, adaptability, and priority management
- Fluent in English and French
- Proficient with office software including Microsoft Excel
- Willingness to travel periodically across the assigned territory
