Christian Dior Couture seeks Visual Merchandising Manager in New York; $100–$110K annual salary plus bonus eligibility.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a collaborative network with Boutique Management, Category Leaders, and Operations to ensure all visual merchandising installations, rotations, and maintenance efforts are coordinated and well-aligned
- Plan and execute seasonal collection launches, window displays, business-related rotations, and in-store event setups across all retail touchpoints, including overnight and weekend work as required
- Cultivate a culture of brand integrity and excellence by establishing systems and structures for display maintenance with rigorous attention to detail and accountability
- Lead and coordinate walk-throughs of visual displays and participate in morning meetings to foster team ownership, alignment, and continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain close partnerships with Central HQ Image Team and local category VM leaders across all universes (Women's, Men's, Fine Jewelry, Watches, Maison, Spa)
- Communicate weekly schedules, guidelines, and future planning to all stakeholder teams to ensure complete visibility and accountability
- Manage inventory of props and display materials with diligent care, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely maintenance and upkeep
- Train, develop, and mentor a team of three Visual Merchandising Specialists to elevate their skills and foster career growth within the organization
- Address merchandising concerns and adapt guidelines to accommodate evolving business needs and corporate directives while upholding brand standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of visual merchandising experience in a luxury or specialty retail environment
- Demonstrated expertise in brand image development and maintenance with exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and train retail teams while building strong professional relationships
- Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize competing demands and manage time effectively
- Advanced communication skills across all organizational levels—from headquarters to corporate to retail
- Deep understanding of and commitment to the Dior brand image, aesthetic, and heritage
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures while maintaining flexibility to accommodate business needs
