Christian Dior Couture in London seeks a Visual Merchandising Intern for a 6-month on-site internship supporting VM across Harrods, Selfridges and New Bond Street.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Visual Merchandising (VM) team across London boutiques (including Harrods, Selfridges and New Bond Street) on daily VM activities and display changes.
- Assist with dressing windows, re-merchandising floor fixtures and completing overnight installations in accordance with VM guidelines and briefs.
- Conduct daily boutique image checks—inspect departments, ensure product replenishment, enforce presentation standards and perform garment steaming as needed.
- Prepare and support promotional events, trunk shows and showroom presentations; participate in overnight setup work (transport provided after late shifts).
- Maintain and manage props inventory and storage areas; document displays with photography for the retail and VM teams.
- Collaborate with the VM Management team to prioritise tasks, adapt to urgent requirements and ensure timely execution of visual concepts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months' retail visual merchandising experience or relevant internship in a luxury or fashion retail environment.
- Immediate availability and legal right to work in the UK.
- Flexible availability with Monday–Sunday coverage, including nights and weekends, and willingness to work typical hours including early starts and overnight installations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to operate collaboratively within a multidisciplinary retail team.
- Physically able to lift and move display materials and to work extended hours when required; meticulous attention to detail and appreciation of luxury presentation standards.

Experience
Entry-level: minimum six months' practical experience in retail visual merchandising or a related retail role, ideally within a luxury fashion environment; hands-on experience with store installations and event dressing preferred.
Education
No formal degree required; a vocational qualification or diploma in visual merchandising, fashion, retail or a related discipline is desirable but not mandatory.
