Christian Dior Couture seeks a Visual Merchandising Intern in Amsterdam to support in-store displays, window installations and seasonal launches.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Visual Merchandising team in planning and executing seasonal launches, in-store rotations and window installations across Amsterdam boutiques.
- Manage prop and sample inventory: cataloguing, tracking movement, and ensuring integrity of items stored off-site.
- Coordinate shipments and logistics with warehouse teams and Head Quarters, including receipt documentation and invoicing verification.
- Organize and maintain the VM sample and prop closets, and ship/track VM samples destined for Paris.
- Maintain the Visual Merchandising calendar and ensure timely posting and cataloguing of installation photography for new store openings and recent displays.
- Collaborate with cross-functional in-store and corporate teams to meet business needs and reprioritise tasks when urgent requests arise.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field and must remain enrolled for the duration of the internship.
- Minimum six months prior experience in visual merchandising or a closely related retail role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Dutch and French are advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven organisational ability and attention to follow-through.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, adapt to changing priorities and undertake occasional overnight assignments.

Candidate must currently be a Bachelor’s or Master’s student and available full-time (40 hours/week) for the internship period. At least six months of prior visual merchandising experience is required. Role involves coordination with HQ and occasional overnight work to support launches and event set-ups. Start date: June/July 2026.

Enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree programme; enrollment must be maintained for the entire internship period.
