Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead visual merchandising strategy in collaboration with headquarters teams and the European Visual Merchandising Manager, ensuring brand consistency and the integrity of the maison's aesthetic codes
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and regular refinement of visual installations across all product categories, including window displays, product placement, and seasonal launches while maintaining the highest standards of the house
  • Manage window and fixture changes, product launches, and special event activations in alignment with business priorities and commercial objectives
  • Conduct regular reporting on visual merchandising installations, analyzing their commercial impact through KPI tracking and optimization
  • Spearhead innovation initiatives by collaborating with headquarters teams to pilot new visual merchandising concepts and technologies
  • Support business development by maintaining visibility of inventory levels, identifying strategic merchandising opportunities, and analyzing competitive visual standards in the luxury sector
  • Build and maintain regular communication with the store team regarding visual merchandising activities, strategic objectives, and business implications
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a team of three in-store visual merchandisers, fostering professional growth and capability enhancement
  • Implement training programs and provide resources to enhance the sales competencies of visual and retail personnel
  • Cultivate a collaborative team culture emphasizing communication, cooperation, and collective excellence in a demanding luxury environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Bac +5) in business administration, visual merchandising, or fashion design from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in visual merchandising within luxury retail boutiques
  • At least 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience leading teams in a retail or visual merchandising context
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design software including InDesign and Photoshop
  • Fluency in both French and English (required)
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and expertise in fashion and luxury aesthetics with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven ability to organize complex projects and campaigns across multiple product categories simultaneously
  • Strong creative thinking combined with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a demanding, evolving luxury retail environment
  • Capacity for relational intelligence and emotional awareness in managing diverse teams
