Christian Dior Couture in Paris seeks a Visual Merchandising Designer (Pop-ups & Special Projects). Lead 3D design, prototyping and installation for couture pop‑ups.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and present creative inspiration boards aligned with collections and capsules.
- Generate multiple creative directions using 3D modelling (Cinema 4D and/or Rhino) and high‑quality hand drawings during concept phases.
- Produce photorealistic 3D simulations and compile presentation decks for management review.
- Prepare technical drawings, tender documentation and scenography specifications for set design and installations.
- Oversee prototype development and manage production partners and suppliers.
- Monitor budgets and ensure financial control for assigned projects.
- Adapt approved concepts for regional deployment, coordinate with regional visual merchandising teams and supervise on‑site installations.
- Travel as required to support roll‑outs and supervise implementation.
Qualifications
- Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent technical design qualification.
- Minimum five years’ proven experience in visual merchandising, scenography or retail set design, ideally within luxury fashion or high‑end retail.
- Robust portfolio demonstrating concept development, 3D renderings, technical drawings and realised installations.
- Excellent command of design and 3D software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4D, Rhino).
- Strong creative sensibility, precision, curiosity and responsiveness under tight deadlines.
- Effective team player with experience coordinating cross‑functional and regional teams.
- Fluent English; ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to multilingual stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel for installations and supplier coordination.

At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in visual merchandising, retail design, scenography or an equivalent role; experience within luxury fashion or high‑end retail environments is strongly preferred.
Education
