Christian Dior Couture seeks a Visual Merchandiser in Vienna to implement global VM strategy and maintain luxury store displays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the global visual merchandising (VM) strategy within the Vienna boutique, ensuring consistency with maison guidelines and luxury brand image.
- Design, manage and refresh window installations and in‑store product displays to support business objectives and seasonal campaigns.
- Develop zoning plans in coordination with store allocations and the zone manager; ensure correct product placement and display maintenance on a daily basis.
- Communicate VM guidelines and updates to retail teams, deliver informal training and promote adherence to visual standards.
- Produce regular photo reports and actionable visual feedback; propose localized display ideas that respond to store business specificities.
- Manage store props and display inventory, monitor needs and liaise with local teams to ensure timely replenishment of materials.
- Monitor store multimedia elements and decorative items (music, video, flowers, books) to preserve a cohesive guest environment.
- Support local VM‑oriented events in partnership with CRM and participate in regional VM trainings; maintain awareness of competitive visual trends in the luxury sector.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in visual merchandising or retail VM, ideally within luxury fashion or premium retail.
- Fluent English (mandatory); additional languages advantageous.
- Demonstrable visual sensitivity, creativity and a refined eye for composition and detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to train and influence store teams.
- Flexible availability, including occasional evenings and weekends, to support store operations and events.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Adobe Photoshop experience is a plus.
