Parfums Christian Dior in Seoul seeks a VMD Specialist to lead counter visual merchandising, POSM production and in-market execution.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and produce monthly display guidelines for each counter (backwall, showcase, glorifier, bar) aligned to launch and promotion calendars.
- Develop and manage local POSM production based on global launch guidelines and HQ directives, including layout and colour proofs.
- Coordinate monthly transparencies and other printed/acrylic supports with external vendors; manage timelines and quality control.
- Allocate POS materials across counters according to available backwall and showcase space, and supervise in-market placement.
- Conduct regular store/counter visits to verify guideline implementation and retail image consistency.
- Manage counter construction and renewal projects: supervise POSM preparation, liaise with local contractors to adapt POSM drawings and inspect fabrication quality.
- Prepare display guides and allocate POSM for promotional events and launches, ensuring seamless execution with Marketing, Retail and CRM stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation of POS assets and assist cross-functional teams in achieving marketing and sales objectives.
Qualifications
- Degree in design, visual merchandising, fine arts or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in visual merchandising, retail display or VMD roles; luxury beauty or premium retail experience preferred.
- Proven ability to translate global launch guidelines into locally feasible POSM and in-counter solutions.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite tools (Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator); AutoCad knowledge preferred.
- Strong vendor and contractor management experience, with a track record of ensuring high-quality POSM fabrication and installation.

Minimum of 3 years in visual merchandising or retail display, ideally within luxury beauty, cosmetics, or premium retail environments. Experience executing counter-level POSM, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and working cross-functionally with marketing and retail teams is required.
