Christian Dior Couture seeks a Vice President, Marketing — Greater China in Shanghai to lead client-centric marketing, CRM and retail activations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and drive an integrated, client-centric marketing strategy for Greater China that translates global brand vision into scalable regional commercial impact.
- Position client development as a primary growth engine and own the full client lifecycle from recruitment through retention and lifetime value creation.
- Lead the integrated client ecosystem — CRM, CDP and E-clienteling tools — ensuring infrastructure evolution is business-driven and ROI-focused.
- Set governance, KPIs and performance frameworks to measure marketing effectiveness and client impact across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
- Direct retail marketing and client activation strategy, overseeing boutique activations, high-impact client events and experiential initiatives that deliver brand elevation and measurable outcomes.
- Define and elevate client experience standards, including Couture and VIC journeys, and develop the styling community to reinforce brand differentiation.
- Act as strategic advisor to the President, Greater China, and partner closely with Global Marketing, CRM and Client teams to ensure local relevance and contribution to global best practices.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing marketing and client organisation (>20 reports), build succession pipelines and foster a collaborative, performance-driven culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum 20 years' senior experience in marketing, CRM or client engagement with a demonstrable track record in luxury or premium brands.
- Proven leadership experience building and scaling client-centric functions and marketing teams across Greater China.
- Extensive client network and strong social relationship capital within the region.
- Deep understanding of Greater China market dynamics and cultural nuances relevant to luxury client acquisition and retention.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English; additional languages are an advantage.

Experience
Twenty-plus years in marketing, CRM or client engagement with proven senior leadership in luxury retail/premium brands and deep, demonstrable experience across Greater China markets.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
