Parfums Christian Dior seeks a Travel Retail Beauty Consultant in Edinburgh to drive fragrance and beauty sales and deliver personalised luxury service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive fragrance, makeup and skincare sales in the travel-retail channel, meeting or exceeding individual sales targets and KPIs.
- Deliver personalised, luxury client experiences through expert consultations, product demonstrations and application (fragrance, makeup and skincare).
- Proactively engage customers on-counter and through traffic-stopping techniques; convert footfall into lasting clientele.
- Cross-sell across product categories to increase average transaction value (ATV) and items per transaction (IPT).
- Build and maintain a robust client database using the ipos tool and introduce clients to the DIOR My Exclusive Loyalty Programme.
- Deliver excellence in Customer Experience (CX) and contribute to strong NPS feedback scores.
- Participate in merchandise management and stock control in line with corporate guidelines to protect the brand image.
- Support product launches, client events and appointments to grow the local client base and retention.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a luxury, consultative retail sales role is required.
- Demonstrable expertise or strong interest in beauty categories (fragrance, makeup, skincare); prior beauty/fragrance sales experience is advantageous.
- Proven ability to meet sales KPIs and deliver high-quality customer service in a premium retail environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clienteling and relationship-building capability.
- Comfortable using retail CRM and point-of-sale tools (ipos) and managing loyalty programme enrolments.

Previous experience in luxury retail sales is required; specific experience in beauty or fragrance sales and travel-retail environments is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent required; vocational qualification in beauty, cosmetics or cosmetology is desirable.
