Parfums Christian Dior seeks a Travel Retail Area Sales Manager in Dubai to lead Africa commercial strategy and key accounts.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the commercial strategy for travel retail across Africa, identifying growth opportunities, market trends and competitor dynamics to increase market share.
  • Manage and develop key travel retail accounts (airport authorities, duty‑free operators and travel retailers), negotiating contracts, securing shelf placements and optimising commercial terms.
  • Lead, coach and motivate a regional sales team; set objectives, KPIs and performance plans and ensure consistent execution against targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, finance and VM teams to deliver promotions, product assortments, visual merchandising and timely distribution in travel retail locations.
  • Monitor account and channel performance through sales data and market analysis; prepare regular reports and recommendations for senior management.
  • Manage the travel retail commercial budget, ensure regulatory and customs compliance across markets and allocate resources to maximise ROI.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or a related discipline; master’s degree is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to develop commercial strategies and close complex negotiations with travel retail operators and airport authorities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing sales teams.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with experience in market research, sales reporting and KPI management.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Africa and occasionally internationally.
