Role & Responsibilities
- Lead flagship projects end-to-end as Project Manager, from scope definition through execution, handover, and post-opening review, managing cross-functional coordination and ensuring alignment with brand ambition and operational requirements
- Translate design concepts into construction-ready architectural packages and technical documentation, incorporating feasibility analysis, local regulations, and technical constraints while maintaining brand guidelines
- Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and budgets according to project complexity; monitor performance through timelines, costs, quality metrics, and operational readiness
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, verify compliance with design intent, oversee execution quality, address on-site issues, and ensure adherence to Maison and local standards including sustainability requirements
- Coordinate with headquarters architecture teams, purchasers, visual merchandising, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery and act as primary stakeholder contact for accountability
- Support material and finish selection, review and validate technical drawings, and ensure consistency of approach across all projects while adapting to scale, budget, and operational priorities
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional architecture experience, ideally within retail design in the beauty and cosmetics industry
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office packages
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Comprehensive understanding of general contracting works with demonstrated ability to follow boutique construction and support site execution
- Strong design orientation with meticulous attention to detail and quality standards
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architecture and retail design, preferably within the beauty and cosmetics sector. Proven capability to manage complex retail construction projects, supervise site execution, and coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders across geographically dispersed locations.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in Architecture, Interior Design, or related built environment discipline.
