Parfums Christian Dior seeks a Travel Retail Architect Specialist in Dubai to lead flagship and boutique retail projects for the Maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead flagship travel-retail projects end-to-end as Project Manager: define scope, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets and timelines, and oversee handover and post-opening reviews.
- Act as Design Specialist for B and C projects: produce and adapt architectural and technical design packages for local implementation.
- Translate creative concepts into construction-ready drawings, layouts and technical documentation that respect brand guidelines and local regulations.
- Review and validate drawings, materials, finishes and technical solutions to ensure durability, quality and Maison consistency.
- Coordinate with HQ architecture, purchasing, visual merchandising, contractors and suppliers to drive seamless project delivery and accountability.
- Support tendering, procurement, site follow-up and implementation; identify and mitigate project risks and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Conduct site supervision visits to verify compliance with design intent, report progress to HQ and ensure execution quality and sustainability requirements.
- Build and monitor project schedules and KPIs; support budget control and design-to-cost optimisation and provide structured reporting to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in retail architecture, interior fit-out or store design; experience in beauty/cosmetics retail strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or equivalent professional qualification.
- Proven track record managing flagship or complex retail projects from concept through delivery, with a portfolio demonstrating retail/beauty work.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and general contracting processes relevant to boutique fit-outs.
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners across multiple markets.
