Dior seeks a Trainer in Düsseldorf for full-time role delivering fragrance and beauty retail training across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct training and upskilling programmes for beauty retail staff across online and offline channels with emphasis on fragrance expertise
- Implement structured Dior Beauty Consultant training initiatives aligned with global curriculum standards
- Deliver engaging instruction in fragrance expertise, luxury brand storytelling, consultative selling techniques, and the Dior perfume heritage
- Develop and strengthen sales and advisory competencies of field personnel to ensure exceptional customer engagement and loyalty
- Organise and facilitate masterclasses and learning sessions for diverse stakeholder groups
- Maintain and evolve the My Dior App by translating, adapting, and uploading digital learning content
- Build motivation and engagement among training participants through dynamic delivery and coaching techniques
- Coach field teams and conduct targeted point-of-sale training interventions
- Identify and nurture emerging talent within retail teams for specialist and expert development programmes
- Create and update training materials, presentations, and digital learning content
- Represent Dior Parfums and fragrance expertise at internal and external events
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Retail, PR, and Social Media teams to align training initiatives with current campaigns and organisational objectives
Qualifications
- Several years of relevant professional experience as a trainer in the luxury goods or retail sector, preferably in Beauty or Fragrance
- Demonstrated passion and substantive knowledge of the perfume world, fragrance composition, raw materials, and haute parfumerie
- Strong presentation and communication capabilities with enthusiasm for knowledge transfer
- Charismatic and inspiring personality with high self-motivation, empathy, and genuine ability to motivate and enthuse audiences
- High digital literacy and proven experience with modern learning platforms, digital tools, current trends, and social media engagement
- Proven ability to design and deliver training content effectively in both online and offline environments
- Flexibility and adaptability when engaging with diverse audiences and stakeholders under evolving requirements
- Excellent organisational skills, prioritisation abilities, and structured work methodology
- Strong customer and service orientation with pronounced hospitality mindset in luxury contexts
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland; enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork and network building
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Business-fluent German and excellent English proficiency (written and verbal); French or Italian language skills are advantageous
