Role & Responsibilities

• Process all shipping and receiving transactions accurately, including inbound freight, returns-to-vendor (RTV), chargebacks, transfers and damage reports in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain an orderly, secure and well‑labelled stockroom and receiving area; ensure merchandise is correctly ticketed, sensored and security tagged.
• Participate in inventory and cycle counts and liaise with central distribution and corporate inventory control to reconcile discrepancies.
• Support floor moves, merchandising tasks, display maintenance, price changes and housekeeping to ensure boutique standards are upheld.
• Operate necessary equipment and systems (inventory‑control computer systems, sensor‑tag removers, phone systems) to process merchandise and documentation.
• Assist with packing or wrapping customer purchases when required and safeguard company assets by following established inventory control and security practices.
• Proactively identify process improvements and contribute informed suggestions to enhance receiving area productivity and service.
• Comply with all company policies, participate in store meetings and training, and perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in retail stock, shipping and receiving or comparable logistics operations.
• Proven ability to handle receiving operations and merchandise with attention to loss prevention and company standards.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and dependable follow‑through on documentation and processes.
• Ability to work varied schedules including nights, weekends and holidays as operationally required.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and to lift, move and handle boxes, fixtures and merchandise safely.

Skills

Experience

Minimum three years of hands‑on retail stock, shipping and receiving experience, preferably within a luxury or high‑end retail environment.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary coursework or certification in retail operations, logistics or supply chain is a plus.

Workplace

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 24 to CAD 26 per hour.

Benefits

Hourly rate of $24–$26 per hour (rate dependent on relevant skills and experience).
