Christian Dior Couture seeks Technical Manager for Womenswear Production in Paris; oversees luxury ready-to-wear industrialization, cost optimization, and supplier quality.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Organize regular coordination meetings with product development to identify and address manufacturing challenges during the collection phase
  • Guide product development and material/component selection to optimize assembly, finishing, treatments, and production flow for luxury womenswear
  • Develop and propose alternative industrial solutions when product development constraints require deviation from standard recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with costing teams to optimize production costs without compromising quality
  • Identify all outstanding industrialization issues during showroom presentations and resolve them during standard fit sessions with development and production teams
  • Manage and track remaining unresolved issues with dedicated timelines communicated to planning teams
  • Participate in supplier allocation decisions for Made in France production with planning and costing teams
  • Guarantee production quality standards by managing both upstream material qualification and downstream quality control
  • Provide ongoing technical support to suppliers and planning teams to resolve production-phase challenges
  • Liaise with the Italian technical office to coordinate quality assurance and supplier management with Italian manufacturers

Qualifications

  • Formal training in fashion production and industrialization
  • Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience in luxury womenswear ready-to-wear
  • Deep technical knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, components, and finishing techniques
  • Proven expertise in luxury womenswear manufacturing processes and industrial workflows
  • Strong sense of responsibility, precision, and quality orientation
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent collections with excellent prioritization skills
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
