Christian Dior Couture Tailor position in Chengdu, China. Experienced garment alteration specialist needed for luxury boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Complete professional alterations and repairs on client garments within agreed timelines, ensuring all work meets luxury quality standards before handover
- Maintain daily operational cleanliness and organization of the tailoring area, ensuring all garments and materials are arranged systematically
- Inspect and maintain sewing equipment, machines, and tools in optimal working condition, including management of supplies such as thread in various colors and accessories
- Communicate proactively and promptly to management any technical or material challenges encountered during garment modification
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional garment alteration and tailoring experience
- Advanced knowledge of diverse fabrics and textile properties
- Proficiency with all standard sewing tools and machinery
- Demonstrable mastery of hand and machine stitching techniques
