Christian Dior Couture seeks a Supply Chain Specialist in Fosso, Italy to manage production planning and procurement for Baby Dior shoes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement detailed production plans in collaboration with internal teams to meet Baby Dior footwear demand.
- Manage production capacity planning and allocate resources efficiently to ensure on-time deliveries and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor production progress across all stages—from material selection to final delivery—ensuring timelines and Baby Dior quality specifications are respected.
- Proactively identify and resolve delays or disruptions in the supply chain by coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Handle exceptions and modify production plans when required, communicating timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with international regulations and Baby Dior ethical production standards.
- Manage a portfolio of strategic suppliers for materials, components and production services; negotiate conditions regarding cost, quality and lead times.
- Oversee end-to-end purchasing processes, from PO creation to sourcing and delivery tracking.
- Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs and deploy new strategies or technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Management Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supply chain, production planning or procurement; experience in luxury, fashion or footwear strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of supply chain methodologies such as S&OP, MRP and Lean Manufacturing.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation and written/verbal communication skills.
- Good command of English; French language skills are a plus.
- Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, results-driven environment.

Experience
At least 3 years of progressive experience in supply chain, production planning or procurement, ideally within luxury fashion or footwear; demonstrable experience managing supplier portfolios, production follow-up and supply chain optimisation.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Management Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
