Christian Dior Couture seeks a Supply Chain Manager in Florence, Italy to lead planning, warehouse and logistics for the production pole.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and deploy supply chain strategies for the production pole, ensuring alignment with HQ planning and commercial targets.
  • Translate HQ master schedules into detailed plant-level production plans and resource allocations; monitor progress and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Lead and develop the planning, warehouse and administrative logistics teams, establishing performance KPIs and continuous improvement programmes.
  • Oversee receipt, inspection, storage and dispatch of production kits; ensure inventory accuracy, optimal rotation and traceability.
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics administration including documentation, customs procedures and carrier coordination.
  • Act as primary liaison between the Plant and Headquarters to ensure seamless material flow, production readiness and communication of priorities.
  • Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to preserve continuity of supply and protect product quality.
  • Drive cost and lead-time optimisation through transport route analysis, supplier coordination and warehouse efficiency initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and health & safety regulations within warehouse and logistics operations.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with significant exposure to manufacturing or plant environments; fashion or luxury-goods experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership record with experience building and developing cross-functional operational teams.
  • Deep knowledge of planning methodologies, warehouse operations, inventory control and logistics best practices.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and supply chain platforms (explicit experience with SAP and/or Oracle advantageous).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with strong commercial awareness.
  • Superior communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluency in English required; French is a beneficial additional language.
