Christian Dior Couture seeks a full-time Supervisor for its Sloane Street boutique in London to lead sales, mentor staff, and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and mentor team members on sales techniques and performance to help colleagues achieve individual targets
  • Greet, serve, and advise clients with exceptional customer service and develop lasting client relationships through personalized 1-to-1 engagement
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge across all categories and communicate awareness of current advertising campaigns, new product launches, and promotions
  • Identify and execute add-on sales opportunities to maximize revenue potential in line with departmental and individual targets
  • Cross-sell between product universes and facilitate client interaction across all Dior categories
  • Oversee visual merchandising within the department to optimize commerciality and aesthetic presentation
  • Address customer complaints effectively and liaison with management to ensure satisfactory resolution
  • Manage stock control procedures and oversee inventory management for assigned departments
  • Support back-office operations and coordinate stock takes and inventory audits
  • Develop and implement action plans for deprecated and slow-moving inventory
  • Integrate new team members into the boutique and provide guidance and ongoing mentorship
  • Maintain visible floor presence to support and motivate the team
  • Conduct product training sessions and support team development through performance reviews and individual development planning
  • Facilitate sales consultant touchbase meetings as directed by management
  • Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping, display, and retail standards throughout the boutique
  • Ensure proficiency with selling systems, cash, credit, and exchange procedures
  • Implement security measures to prevent product theft and ensure compliance with company administration systems
  • Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to a positive boutique culture

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience within luxury fashion retail
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and mentoring sales teams
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Existing client book and demonstrated ability to build client loyalty (preferred)
  • Genuine passion for Christian Dior and knowledge of its collections and heritage
