Christian Dior Tokyo seeks Store Planning Senior Manager—lead luxury retail projects across Asia Pacific. Full-time role managing store openings, budget, and architectural coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead store opening and renewal projects from planning through execution, managing timelines, layout coordination, and internal/external communications
  • Control vendors and contractors throughout project implementation to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards
  • Manage capital expenditure budgets and cost tracking in collaboration with Retail and Finance teams
  • Oversee all procurement activities and delivery schedules to meet new and renewal store opening deadlines
  • Maintain regular communication and reporting with headquarters Architecture department and local leadership
  • Coordinate the localization of headquarters design specifications, materials, and fixtures with external architects, contractors, and suppliers
  • Foster effective collaboration within the Store Planning team to ensure seamless project execution
  • Provide strategic reports to cross-functional leadership and local management

Qualifications

  • University degree
  • 5–8 years of professional experience in retail store planning, architectural design, interior design, construction management, or store execution at a luxury brand
  • Demonstrated people management and team leadership experience
  • Advanced knowledge of department store operations and external retail events
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, and CAD software
  • Expertise in project management methodologies and planning techniques
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
