Role & Responsibilities
- Manage daily wine cellar operations, including stock monitoring, inventory management, and liaison with procurement departments
- Provide expert consultation on wine and spirits selections to optimize guest satisfaction and revenue generation
- Execute order taking, beverage service, and payment processing according to established restaurant protocols
- Welcome and greet guests, ensuring personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Supervise assigned service personnel and coordinate team activities
- Promote available services and products across the 30 Avenue Montaigne venue and coordinate special dining events
- Maintain cleanliness standards and compliance with hygiene, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Monitor and communicate operational concerns, security issues, and accident risks to management
- Oversee table maintenance, linens management, and restocking of service materials
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of sommelier experience in luxury hospitality establishments
- Comprehensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and beverage pairings
- Proficiency in restaurant operations and service standards
- Fluency in French and English
- Knowledge of a third language preferred
- Strong organizational and anticipation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and customer-centric mindset
