Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and articulate the target Finance vision on SAP HANA, ensuring strategic alignment between Finance strategy, IT architecture, and product delivery
• Serve as a central authority in Finance Design Authority governance forums, challenging, arbitrating, and formalizing architecture decisions with clear strategic rationale
• Pilot and govern the activation of parallel ledger functionality in SAP HANA for IFRS, local GAAP, and management reporting requirements
• Participate in defining and executing the SAP Finance implementation strategy across 15–20 non-SAP entities, ensuring scalability and robustness
• Provide L3 expertise on complex Finance topics, guaranteeing end-to-end coherence and reliability of payment and treasury workflows
• Contribute actively to Supply Chain and Manufacturing transformation initiatives with Finance implications, anticipating and structuring impacts on financial systems
• Maintain continuous technological and functional vigilance on SAP HANA Finance capabilities and emerging best practices
• Influence and align stakeholders across hierarchical boundaries through architectural leadership and thought partnership

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of IT Finance experience with proven System Architect responsibility
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, particularly Accounting and Treasury modules, in complex multi-entity environments
• Demonstrated ability to arbitrate technical decisions, structure transformation roadmaps, and ensure long-term SI coherence
• Excellent understanding of Accounting and Treasury processes across IFRS and local regulatory frameworks
• Knowledge of satellite solutions and complementary tools (e.g., Blackline, TRAX, EPM platforms) is advantageous
• Strong conceptual and strategic thinking with ability to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures
