Christian Dior Couture seeks Senior Product Manager for Lady Dior & core handbag collections in Paris. Fashion background and 5+ years product marketing required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure Lady Dior and core collection offerings are balanced, strategically coherent, and commercially successful whilst embodying the Maison's artistic vision
  • Develop quarterly collection briefs for the studio encompassing trend analysis, market opportunities, strategic orientation, and target collection plans
  • Supervise product codification, data quality, marketing attributes, and product reference system management
  • Edit the collection plan in collaboration with Studio and development teams, providing product recommendations and refinements through showroom presentation
  • Construct the modelario (collection dashboard and buying tool) reflecting the complete product assortment
  • Establish pricing strategy in partnership with industrial teams, manage collection pricing and repricing, and monitor margin performance and compliance
  • Author product positioning narratives and messaging for all internal stakeholders
  • Validate model deposits and trademark registrations with the Legal department
  • Oversee technical refinement with industrial development and quality assurance teams
  • Organize quarterly showrooms (4 annually), managing prototypes and product photography in collaboration with the photo studio and managing presentations to retail and wholesale merchandisers
  • Conduct ad hoc market research studies for executive leadership
  • Supervise competitive studies and price mapping analysis
  • Present collections and product strategy to cross-functional entities including press, digital, VIP/VIC divisions, and training departments
  • Manage prototype availability and selection for photography, coordinate press and digital orders, and handle VIP requests
  • Generate post-showroom summary reports including purchase recaps and launch packages for regional teams
  • Develop sales training content and point-of-sale tools for the boutique network in partnership with Training
  • Mentor one junior product manager and one intern

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a business school, marketing management program, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of proven success in product marketing or brand management
  • Passionate about fashion with acute product sensibility
  • Fluent in French and English (written and oral); Italian proficiency preferred
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; strong general IT facility
  • Demonstrated ability to work rapidly and effectively within dynamic, multitasking environments
  • Exceptional attention to detail, rigour, and precision
  • Strong collaborative skills with team orientation and independence
  • Dynamic, curious, and open-minded with excellent communication and active listening abilities
