Senior Product Manager for Women's Leather Goods at Christian Dior Couture in Paris — oversee Lady Dior and core collections development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the strategic development of Lady Dior and pillar collections, ensuring balanced offerings that embody Dior's artistic vision while driving commercial success
  • Prepare quarterly collection briefs for the studio detailing market trends, opportunities, strategic orientations, and target collection roadmaps
  • Supervise product codification, data quality, and marketing attributes; maintain and audit the product reference database
  • Collaborate with studio and development teams to refine collection plans, recommend product adjustments, and optimize showroom presentations
  • Build and maintain the modelario (collection dashboard and buying tool) with comprehensive product information
  • Develop pricing strategies in partnership with the industrial team, establish collection pricing, manage repricing decisions, and monitor margin performance
  • Create product narratives and technical documentation for internal stakeholders across retail, wholesale, and brand functions
  • Coordinate model and trademark registrations with the Legal department
  • Oversee technical refinement processes with industrial development and quality assurance teams
  • Organize and execute four annual showrooms: manage prototypes, direct product photography in collaboration with the photo studio, and present collections to retail merchants and wholesale partners
  • Conduct ad-hoc market analyses and competitive intelligence studies for senior management
  • Supervise competitive benchmarking initiatives and price mapping exercises across the women's leather goods sector
  • Present collections and product strategy to internal teams including press, digital, VIP/VIC, and training departments
  • Curate and allocate prototypes for editorial shoots, press campaigns, digital content, and VIP requests
  • Prepare post-showroom synthesis documents and launch packs for distribution to regional teams
  • Develop sales training content and point-of-sale tools in collaboration with the Training department
  • Manage and mentor one junior product manager and one intern

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a business school, marketing program, or equivalent advanced education
  • Minimum 5 years of proven professional experience in luxury product marketing
  • Deep passion for fashion with refined product sensibility and aesthetic judgment
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken); Italian proficiency is advantageous
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong general IT aptitude
