Christian Dior Couture seeks a Senior Product Manager, High-End Leather Goods in Paris to lead luxury handbag collection strategy and development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Create collection briefs four times annually for the design studio, outlining market trends, opportunities, strategic orientations, and collection targets
  • Edit the collection plan in collaboration with the design studio and development teams, providing product recommendations and framework adjustments
  • Manage and control the marketing attribute coding system and product reference database
  • Develop pricing strategy in coordination with the manufacturing team, including collection pricing, repricing, and margin monitoring
  • Construct the modelario (collection dashboard and buying tool) for internal stakeholders
  • Produce product narratives and positioning for all internal clients
  • Organize four seasonal showrooms annually, managing prototypes, coordinating product photography, and presenting collections to retail merchandisers and wholesale partners
  • Monitor technical refinement with industrial development and quality assurance teams
  • Provide 360-degree coordination to optimize collection launches
  • Select and make available prototypes for photography shoots and ad-hoc requirements
  • Create post-showroom synthesis documents including purchase recaps and launch packs for regional teams
  • Conduct competitive analysis and price mapping studies
  • Perform ad-hoc strategic analyses for senior management
  • Participate in high-end client events, supporting organization, delivering client presentations, and providing team support

Qualifications

  • Business School diploma, Marketing and Management degree, or equivalent qualification
  • 4 to 6 years of successful experience in product marketing
  • Demonstrated expertise in luxury leather goods, particularly precious leather handbags
  • Passionate about fashion with a strong product sensibility
  • Fluent in French and English (written and oral); Italian language skills highly valued
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and general IT competency
  • Autonomous, reactive, and proactive work approach
