Christian Dior Couture, Paris: 6-month contract for Senior Product Development Manager leading Dior Men's product strategy and team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor an eight-person development team, resolving daily challenges and fostering professional growth through targeted objectives and training
  • Manage operational missions including PLM administration, budget oversight, product management, and manufacturer liaison
  • Coordinate collections across fabric and component teams, production scheduling, and merchandising to ensure adherence to the Maison's quality grade, collection timeline, model pricing, and budget parameters
  • Negotiate manufacturing timelines during collection cycles, particularly during runway show accelerations
  • Participate in fittings with the studio to review and validate prototypes
  • Guarantee pre-industrialization and anticipate quality testing in partnership with production
  • Standardize models with the production team for seamless handover
  • Continuously improve collection processes to mitigate potential issues

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Ready-to-Wear development and product strategy
  • Proven team management experience required
  • Degree qualification from a fashion school or business school (Bac +4/5 equivalent)
  • Strong product sensitivity and technical knowledge of men's fashion
  • Demonstrated proactivity, rigor, and organizational discipline with a clear sense of priorities
