Role & Responsibilities
- Develop patterns and technical specifications for ready-to-wear collections, customer orders, and VIP commissions
- Collaborate closely with pattern makers, seamstresses, workshop managers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure seamless production execution
- Create and transform patterns through flat and toile techniques; execute pattern adjustments and piece documentation
- Prepare technical sheets with assembly instructions and complete nomenclatures using PLM software
- Execute quality control on all developed models, ensuring adherence to Dior's rigorous standards and artistic vision
- Provide technical information to support the realization of garment specifications and production requirements
- Meet established deadlines while respecting the collection schedule and modulation system during peak periods
- Mentor junior pattern makers, apprentices, and new team members, transmitting brand expertise and best practices
Qualifications
- CAP, BEP, or Baccalauréat Professionnel in Fashion Métiers or Pattern Making/CAD/CAM
- Minimum 8–10 years of documented experience in pattern making or modeling in luxury fashion or haute couture
- Expert-level proficiency with specialized CAD software, particularly MODARIS LECTRA
- Advanced knowledge of textiles, fabrics, and textile behavior in garment construction
- Demonstrated ability to interpret design sketches with creative precision and execute technical challenges in pattern realization
- Strong grasp of garment assembly techniques
- Exceptional attention to detail, rigor, and precision in all deliverables
Skills
Experience
Minimum 8 to 10 years of proven experience in pattern making or modeling within luxury fashion or haute couture environments, including demonstrated expertise in CAD-based pattern development, toile work, and technical garment production.
Education
CAP (Certificat d'Aptitude Professionnelle), BEP (Brevet d'Études Professionnelles), or Baccalauréat Professionnel in Métiers de la Mode, Modélisme-Patronage, or equivalent qualification in fashion pattern making and CAD/CAM.
