Role & Responsibilities
- Lead proactive regulatory surveillance of packaging regulations at French, European, and international levels, analyzing impacts and securing the cosmetics product portfolio
- Develop and defend LVMH's positions within professional associations and working groups focused on packaging and cosmetics regulation
- Prepare and present didactic materials on packaging regulatory topics in alignment with LVMH beauty division's packaging strategy
- Maintain rigorous oversight of packaging standards and participate in their revision through CEN/AFNOR processes
- Contribute technical documentation management for the new PPWR packaging regulation
- Update and enhance the LVMH Packaging Commitment Charter and refine internal packaging approval processes
- Serve as liaison with LVMH Environment on packaging matters and support deployment of the group's environmental program (Life 360)
- Establish and maintain competitive and media surveillance on packaging-related claims; develop and update internal reference materials on packaging claims
- Address information requests and provide guidance to Regional Operating Office teams, group collaborators, and packaging development teams across 19 maisons
- Monitor substances of concern in packaging materials and update the internal 'substances scan' tool
- Participate in cross-functional working groups (LEADS Pack, Circular Plastics, Procurement Coordination)
- Serve as primary entry point for Research on packaging regulation matters and advise on compliance data integration in PLM systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in law, regulatory affairs, environmental science, materials engineering, chemistry, or packaging
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a comparable regulatory or compliance function
- Solid expertise in packaging-specific regulatory frameworks applied to the cosmetics industry
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
- Ability to anticipate and interpret regulatory evolution
- Knowledge of cosmetics industry packaging practices and standards
- Demonstrated experience working with professional associations and standards bodies
Skills
Experience
Minimum 8 years in a regulatory affairs, compliance, or comparable role within cosmetics, packaging, or a regulated industry; proven track record in managing packaging-related regulatory matters and stakeholder engagement.
