Role & Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive business strategy, buying processes, inventory allocation, and distribution across the men's portfolio for North American boutiques in alignment with corporate strategic plans
- Partner cross-functionally with retail leadership and corporate stakeholders to drive business analysis, address client needs, and oversee day-to-day operations
- Serve as primary strategic liaison with Paris central merchandising regarding business planning, assortment strategy, and commercial execution
- Lead open-to-buy (OTB) strategy discussions and conduct financial reviews
- Drive seasonal market selection and coordinate high-value market orders with Paris headquarters
- Develop and execute seasonal sales forecasting and comprehensive financial planning
- Analyze weekly and seasonal sales performance to ensure financial targets, planned sales, and stretch goals are achieved
- Oversee reorder strategies and manage lifecycle inventory optimization
- Manage complex product flow and distribution strategies across regions
- Direct and oversee the special order process and execution
- Develop and propose innovative sales incentive programs
- Drive active management of replenishment programs and inventory consolidation initiatives
- Formulate and execute strategic markdown strategies to optimize margin
- Prepare and strategically review OTB reports, fast/slow seller analysis, and sell-through metrics
- Deliver comprehensive end-of-season product analysis and executive-level final sales reports
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive merchandising experience in retail or luxury sectors
- Deep knowledge of the men's market, including competitive landscape, consumer behavior, and industry trends
- Expert-level Excel proficiency with advanced financial modeling and data analysis capabilities
- Advanced proficiency in enterprise merchandising software and systems
- Exceptional executive presence and interpersonal skills to influence global stakeholders
- Outstanding organizational and leadership capabilities with demonstrated drive for results
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency with exceptional PowerPoint presentation design skills
