Christian Dior Couture, Paris: Senior Legal Counsel for Image, Communication & Events. Full-time hybrid role advising on celebrity contracts, sponsorships, and fashion events.
Role & Responsibilities
- Advise the Image, Communication, and Events divisions on all celebrity, ambassador, and talent contractual matters, including negotiations with personalities, models, and third-party service providers
- Counsel the Image and Communication teams on brand collaboration and co-branding contracts, sponsorship agreements, and cultural partnerships with institutions and museums
- Provide comprehensive legal support for all event operations, including fashion show security, exhibitions, receptions, and dinners—encompassing venue agreements, service provider contracts, permits, and hospitality arrangements
- Identify and escalate material legal risks among daily operational inquiries, delivering practical and business-oriented solutions aligned with the Maison's strategic objectives
- Lead the digitalization and standardization of legal processes and documentation, including implementation of Contract Management Tools, automated contract generation, and DocuSign workflows
- Provide regulatory training and sensitization to Image, Communication, and Events teams on applicable legal frameworks and industry-specific compliance requirements
- Manage litigation and disputes related to image rights and commercial matters within the division's scope
- Collaborate with fellow legal counsel across the Business Affairs team and central legal department to ensure consistency and best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree (M2) in Contract Law, Commercial Law, Intellectual Property Law, Media and Communications Law, or equivalent qualification (CAPA preferred)
- Minimum 8–10 years of professional legal experience, ideally as an in-house counsel and/or practicing attorney
- Fluent English (spoken and written); Italian fluency is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, legal databases, contract management tools, and standard business software
- Proven expertise in contract negotiation, drafting, and management across commercial and media domains
- Deep understanding of intellectual property and image rights law
- Experience managing celebrity endorsements, partnerships, sponsorships, or event contracts is preferred

Experience
Minimum 8–10 years of professional legal experience, ideally as an in-house counsel and/or practicing attorney in contract law, commercial law, intellectual property, or media and communications law.
Education
Master's degree (M2) in Contract Law, Commercial Law, Intellectual Property Law, Media and Communications Law, or equivalent; CAPA (Certificat d'Aptitude à la Profession d'Avocat) preferred.
