Christian Dior Couture seeks a Senior Industrialization Officer — Women's RTW in Padua, Italy to lead garment industrialization and quality at external ateliers.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and direction to external ateliers and Centres of Excellence, resolving production issues related to women's apparel and textile execution.
  • Supervise production fittings to convert patterns into production-ready garments, defining production standards and acceptable tolerances.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of technical documentation (tech packs/spec sheets) and confirm Production Planning has all required technical inputs for manufacturing.
  • Oversee production progress and quality control at external suppliers and internal centres, assessing execution quality and adherence to agreed timelines and production plans.
  • Monitor product quality across fabric processing and final garment assembly, collaborating with fabric referents to safeguard standards.
  • Identify and diagnose production defects, proposing corrective actions and driving suppliers to implement remediation to remove quality non-conformities.
  • Liaise continuously with patternmaking, production office, logistics and internal quality control to align technical decisions with delivery schedules and collection milestones.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in luxury apparel production, with proven exposure to womenswear and sportswear segments.
  • Deep technical knowledge of the garment production cycle, textiles and fabric behaviour.
  • Advanced competence in patternmaking (modellistica) and prototyping, with experience converting designs into production-ready patterns.
  • Proven ability to manage and influence external suppliers and ateliers; diplomatic yet assertive interpersonal style to secure compliance and quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decisiveness when proposing technical solutions to remove production non-conformities.
