Christian Dior Couture in Paris seeks a Senior General Accountant — full-time permanent role in IFRS reporting and statutory accounting.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and execute monthly, quarterly and annual close activities under a fast-closing philosophy: review, post and control period-end entries (amortisation, provisions, leases, financial instruments, etc.) and ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Prepare consolidated IFRS reporting (balance sheet, P&L, notes) and populate SAP BFC / Syrus reporting timelines; prepare tax proof and monitor deferred tax under IFRS.
- Prepare statutory financial statements and French GAAP tax package (liasse fiscale) using Cegid Tax Ultimate and related statutory reporting.
- Process and reconcile routine general ledger transactions in French GAAP and perform IFRS restatement entries.
- Manage fixed assets accounting in SAP (FI/AA): postings, reconciliations, reporting and analysis.
- Control and account for leases and guarantees, applying IFRS 16 requirements.
- Perform bank accounting: interfaces, reconciliations, analysis and justification of bank reconciliations and cash management reporting (cash pool, external debt, financial instruments).
- Calculate, control and follow up corporate tax, CET, TVS, CVAE and other tax declarations; support tax-related audits and queries.
- Document and formalise accounting procedures, author and maintain the department accounting manual and specific accounting schemata.
- Act as the accounting reference for ERP parameterisation (SAP) and the interface with reporting tools (Syrus / SAP BFC).
- Contribute accounting and finance expertise to cross-functional projects (digitalisation of finance processes, internal control strengthening, SAP upgrades) and respond to requests from Group Finance, consolidation, tax, legal and business units.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support subsidiaries on accounting and financial topics to ensure adherence to the Group core model.
Qualifications
- Master’s level degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, audit (Bac+4/5) — DSCG or equivalent highly desirable.
- Strong technical mastery of IFRS and French GAAP; solid VAT (TVA) technical knowledge.
- Proven autonomy, rigour and analytical capability with strong organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders at various levels, including auditors and cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).

Experience
8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally acquired within an international corporate group or in public accounting/audit firms, with hands-on responsibility for statutory and IFRS reporting.
Education
Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in Accounting, Finance, Audit; DSCG or equivalent is strongly preferred.
