Christian Dior Couture seeks Senior Financial Controller for Communications in Paris. Management control role overseeing communication budgets, costs, and performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as business partner and strategic advisor to the Communications Department, ensuring alignment between financial objectives and resource allocation
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the Communications leadership team
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting for all communication functions, including campaign development, content production (video, photography), and event management
- Analyze and optimize communication spending across creation costs, development investments, marketing expenditures, and resource allocation to prestataires and communication tools
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance of communication campaigns, events, and projects on monthly, quarterly, and annual bases
- Collaborate with the Procurement Department to identify cost optimization opportunities and maximize return on investment for communication initiatives
- Guarantee accuracy and relevance of financial data related to communications for Senior Management and the Finance Department
- Participate in monthly closing cycles and tracking of financial indicators, risk alerts, and opportunities
- Contribute to budget development and budget revisions through engagement with operational teams, analysis, and reporting
- Support key strategic projects and conduct ad hoc analyses as requested by the Finance Department and Senior Management
- Drive continuous improvement of controlling processes and financial tools
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in audit, consulting, or management control
- Ideally, experience in industrial management control or a similarly complex multi-cost environment
- Graduate of a recognized business school or equivalent advanced management education
- Professional fluency in English
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented approach
