Christian Dior Couture seeks Senior Components Developer in Paris. Lead trim and accessory sourcing for ready-to-wear and Haute Couture collections.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Research and identify new trim and accessory options, monitoring current market trends and innovations
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive trim library including material specifications, pricing, and supplier information
  • Collaborate with designers to understand trim requirements and provide technical guidance on material selection and construction
  • Work with product development teams to ensure trims meet performance and durability standards
  • Source trims from approved suppliers, negotiating pricing and lead times to achieve project goals
  • Manage trim samples and approvals, verifying all trims meet quality standards and consistency across production runs
  • Troubleshoot trim-related issues arising during development or production phases
  • Maintain accurate records of trim usage and costs
  • Stay informed of relevant industry regulations and standards, including safety and environmental requirements
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide updates on trim development progress

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years of trim development experience
  • Experience working at a global trim supplier or fashion brand
  • Strong technical knowledge of textile trims and hard trims
  • Excellent understanding of zip componentry
  • Proficiency with CENTRIC PLM and Microsoft Office suite
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
