Role & Responsibilities

  • Define the 360° category strategy for tailoring, outerwear and soft accessories in collaboration with the Head of Collection Merchandising; drive product assortment evolution, pricing positioning and market segmentation.
  • Develop collection plans for the four annual collections and capsule drops, including trend benchmarks, target pricing, fabric and silhouette direction, and key customer profiling.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive product intelligence to identify trends and market opportunities and translate insights into collection proposals.
  • Set target prices within the collection plan and align price positioning with production feedback, retail merchandising input and margin objectives.
  • Support and monitor collection development with the studio and development teams; identify and escalate fitting and technical issues to ensure final product quality.
  • Prepare showroom and runway materials: create fabric books, sales tools, product presentations, designations and matrices for each collection; brief photo studio for packshots and still-life imagery.
  • Coordinate showroom setup and collection presentation with internal stakeholders (Zones, Press, Wholesale, E‑commerce, CRM) and assist elite client sales sessions during shows.
  • Manage coordination of marketing, advertising and e‑commerce shoots and events; oversee prototype flows and inventory control for collections, including preparation of ATA carnets and validation of lookbook legends.
  • Produce product guidelines for e‑commerce and validate online product descriptions and packshots to ensure accurate digital presentation.
  • Contribute to Dior Academy training materials (review and verification) and support definition of boutique and showroom uniform guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Visual Merchandising on point-of-sale supports and bespoke packaging projects.

Qualifications

  • Degree from a business school, engineering school or equivalent higher education.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in product marketing, merchandising or collection planning, preferably in men's ready-to-wear.
  • Strong product sensibility and solid knowledge of the men's prêt‑à‑porter segment; keen interest in fashion trends and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to work across diverse cross‑functional teams (studio, development, retail, e‑commerce, press).
  • High level of analytical thinking, synthesis and rigorous attention to detail; capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
  • Sound commercial judgment and the ability to set strategic priorities.
  • Fluent English (spoken, read and written); proficiency in Italian is a plus.
