Christian Dior Couture seeks a Senior Collection Merchandiser (Men's RTW) in Paris to lead tailoring, outerwear and soft accessories strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement the 360° category strategy for Tailoring, Outerwear and Soft Accessories in collaboration with the Head of Collection Merchandising.
- Drive product assortment evolution and positioning to align with market needs, trends and the maison’s margin objectives.
- Set target pricing within collection plans and determine final price positioning in coordination with production and retail merchandising feedback.
- Develop collection plans for four annual collections and related capsules, including trends, benchmarks, price targets, material briefs, key silhouettes and target clients.
- Conduct ongoing competitive product intelligence to identify trends and market opportunities.
- Coordinate collection development with the studio and development teams; monitor fittings, resolve technical issues and escalate critical production points.
- Prepare fabric books and commercial sales tools (product presentations, naming conventions, matrices) and support showroom and runway set‑up aligned with collection strategy.
- Brief photo studio for packshots and still life, validate lookbook captions and coordinate marketing/press/e‑commerce shootings.
- Manage prototype flows and collection inventory; prepare ATA carnets for international shipments.
- Write product guidelines for e‑commerce, validate product descriptions and packshots for the online store.
- Contribute to training resources (Dior Academy), assist in defining showroom/boutique uniforms and support visual merchandising projects for sales supports and bespoke packaging.
- Present collections to regional teams (Zones), Press, Wholesale, E‑commerce and CRM and support elite client selling sessions during shows.
Qualifications
- Degree from a business school, engineering school or equivalent higher education.
- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in product marketing/merchandising within fashion; prior exposure to tailoring, outerwear and/or soft accessories is strongly preferred.
- Excellent product sensitivity and solid knowledge of the men's ready‑to‑wear segment.
- Strong analytical skills, rigor and the ability to synthesise commercial and technical information.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate across creative, development and commercial teams.
- High organisational capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and sound judgement in decision making.
- Fluent English (read, written and spoken); Italian is a plus.

Minimum five years of proven experience in product marketing, merchandising or collection management within the fashion sector, ideally with direct involvement in tailoring, outerwear and soft accessories for menswear.
Education
Higher education degree from a business school, engineering school or equivalent.
