Christian Dior Couture seeks a Sales Associate in Washington D.C. to deliver exceptional client service, grow a client book and achieve sales targets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver best-in-class client service across in-person, telephone and electronic channels to develop and retain a local and international client book.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and KPIs, including sales volume, units per transaction and average dollar per transaction.
  • Demonstrate deep product knowledge and present product stories and selling ceremonies to engage clients and drive conversion.
  • Execute boutique operations: support floor moves, merchandising, visual merchandising, housekeeping and accurate stock management.
  • Participate in inventory and cycle counts, follow loss-prevention procedures and protect boutique assets.
  • Process sales and inter-boutique merchandise requests in accordance with company guidelines; assist with packing/wrapping when required.
  • Manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with the leadership team to resolve client issues to the business’ benefit.
  • Operate required equipment (phone systems, cash register, sensor-tag remover, computers) and maintain accurate client and business documentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ retail sales and client service experience, preferably in luxury fashion, leather goods or premium consumer goods.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships and to grow a personal client book.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales KPIs and delivering measurable business results.
  • Excellent communication, organization and follow-through skills with strong problem-solving capability.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, move and handle merchandise and lift at least 30 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays and willingness to adhere to company policies and standards.

Experience
