Christian Dior Couture seeks an RTW Costing Officer in Padua, Italy to manage ready‑to‑wear production cost analysis and reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collect, validate and analyse production cost data for ready‑to‑wear garments to support margin optimisation.
- Map and interrogate suppliers' cost structures to identify improvement areas and negotiation opportunities.
- Define standard production costs and monitor variances to evaluate performance and drive corrective actions.
- Perform trend analysis on cost evolution and isolate primary cost drivers.
- Collaborate with Technical Office to analyse product and process costs and implement cost‑saving measures while preserving product quality.
- Work with Planning to allocate production volumes strategically to meet margin targets and KPI service levels.
- Prepare periodic and ad‑hoc cost reports and present findings to management.
- Maintain accurate costing records in the ERP/PLM and produce complex Excel models for cost analysis.
Qualifications
- Degree in Economics, Management Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum two years' hands‑on experience in costing, ideally within apparel, textile or fashion manufacturing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros) and solid familiarity with ERP and PLM systems.
- Strong analytical reasoning, problem‑solving aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
- Fluent English (written and spoken); ability to work collaboratively across functions.

Experience
Minimum two years of direct experience in costing or cost analysis for apparel/ready‑to‑wear, with exposure to supplier cost structures, variance analysis and cross‑functional collaboration.
Education
Degree in Economics, Management Engineering or related discipline.
