Christian Dior Couture seeks a Retail Merchandising Manager for Men's Ready-to-Wear in Paris. Lead strategy, assortments, and performance across EMEA.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive category performance through management of sales KPIs, sell-through rates, and growth objectives across all zones
- Serve as strategic liaison between central Business Unit and regional teams, ensuring consistent implementation of global merchandising strategy whilst capturing market-specific insights
- Oversee assortment strategies and cluster definitions in collaboration with supply chain, marketing, and retail teams; build category-specific purchasing strategies by cluster and zone
- Manage seasonal collection coordination with cross-category themes, oversee in-season rebalancing, and ensure alignment with supply chain teams
- Conduct competitive pricing analysis by zone and currency; maintain strategic price positioning and implement repricing actions to ensure global balance
- Lead buyer interactions with regional teams on assortment, quantity reviews, and post-season debriefs; validate SKU quantities by zone
- Coordinate central pre-buying activities and manage showroom operations; ensure OTB compliance and optimize product mix balance across lines and markets
- Define permanent assortment offerings and provide ad-hoc action plans to maximize performance across zones
Qualifications
- Master's degree in business, marketing, luxury retail management, merchandising, or equivalent from a recognized commerce or engineering school
- Minimum 7 years of proven experience in retail merchandising or buying roles at central or regional level within ready-to-wear apparel
- Demonstrated experience managing teams and engaging directly with senior management
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; advanced analytical and data management capabilities
- Exceptional retail acumen with strong understanding of fashion and luxury sector dynamics
- Fluent in French and English (required); Italian is a distinct advantage

Minimum 7 years of successful experience in retail merchandising or buying roles at central or regional level within ready-to-wear; demonstrated experience in team management and senior stakeholder engagement.
Education
Master's degree from a business school, university, or engineering school (e.g., Masters in Merchandising, Luxury & Fashion Marketing, Retail Management, Wholesale) or equivalent qualification.
