Christian Dior Couture — Paris: Retail Merchandising Manager, Accessories (Dior Homme). Permanent full‑time role leading assortment, pricing and sell‑through across zones.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and implement category strategy for Dior Homme accessories in coordination with regional zones and the business unit; translate global targets into actionable plans for local markets.
  • Lead seasonal collection briefs: analyse current-season sales, monitor competitive pricing by zone, and synthesise market-specific needs to inform assortment and buy strategies.
  • Monitor daily business performance and sell‑through metrics; establish and execute ad hoc action plans with zones to optimise sell‑through and inventory turns.
  • Design assortment and cluster strategies by market and cluster; construct buying and allocation strategies per zone for each collection.
  • Own open‑to‑buy (OTB) processes and showroom management: estimate line volumes, support central pre‑buys, validate per‑zone quantities and permanent offer definitions.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional execution with Supply Chain, Product Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Retail, E‑commerce and other BUs to maximise launches and in‑season rebalancing.
  • Manage pricing equilibrium across currencies: monitor FX and competitor price positioning, define and implement repricing/alignment actions where required.
  • Drive meetings with zone buyers and stakeholders (assortments, quantities reviews, post‑launch debriefs) and represent the BU to regional teams and top management.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (Master 2) from a business school, university or engineering school; specialised masters in Merchandising, Luxury Management, Marketing or Retail preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years' proven experience in retail merchandising or buying at central level within the fashion industry; prior experience in luxury is essential.
  • Demonstrated team management experience and regular interaction with senior/top management.
  • Native or full professional proficiency in French and English; Italian is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with a commercial sense tailored to retail KPIs.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills; high level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Availability for international travel and market visits.

Experience

At least 7 years of progressive experience in retail merchandising or buying within the fashion/luxury sector, including central merchandising responsibilities, team leadership and frequent collaboration with regional buyers and executive management.

Education

Master's degree (Master 2) in Business, Merchandising, Luxury Management, Marketing, Retail or equivalent (Engineering degree with relevant commercial specialisation also acceptable).
